My artistic roots derive from my mother, who studied opera in New York. In fact, my mother named me after Vincent Van Gogh, a Dutch post Impressionist painter, in hopes I would someday become an artist. Thus, I studied fine art for several years and became an artist in the Los Angeles area. Much of my artwork displays symbolic tones that connect various themes to relay a message. The mediums I'm associated with are watercolor, acrylic, graphite, and ink. My subjects range from the literal to the abstract. I continually explore new styles of painting in an endeavor to translate my thoughts or subject matter to the canvas
"Great things are done by a Series of small things brought together."-
Vincent Van Gogh
"Painting is easy when you don't know
how, but very difficult when you do."-
Edgar Degas
